Issues Within (The Miltary) Causing Lower Retention

In this podcast episode, we discuss current events happening in Tennessee speaking on the Representatives being expelled and trying to silence them, and why the retention rate in the military is low due to some of the same reason  Sheddings light on various issues that contributed and continue to contribute to the problem. We touch on the impact of COVID-19, the importance of teaching, and using common sense to address these issues. Tune in as we explore the issues with the retention rate in the military and support our brave men and women in uniform to help identify what it is that is making it all seem like its burning down.

What Do I Do Now???

What do I do now? The question a multitude if not every veteran asks themselves once they have decided to unlace the boots for the last time. We talk about what I went through and the planning that it takes for servicemembers to make sure they are prepared for once they are no longer serving in the military. The decision and the options make it more stressful on anyone as you are starting a new chapter in your life. You go from having most of your time planned out to not knowing what the next step is. So we go into talking what the transition is, the steps, actions taken within the timeframes and the completion of leaving the military. After 10 years I will say it is a welcomed change. Now to the next chapter in life, but remember for awareness and a better success rate, make sure you have a plan and make sure that you stick to it in order to succeed. Also, look out for fellow veterans not all have a plan that they were able to follow and sometimes comes at you faster than you know it. So assist and teach everyone to the best of your abilities to make sure everyone gets to the next chapter. Thanks for tuning in!

When and Why We Need To Talk About Mental Health in the Military

This episode we dive into talking about my mental health, the mental health within the military, and the issues that arise within the military when it comes to mental health. Allowing people to be heard and listened to and enabling them to understand that seeking help is not a problem, but that it's a solution that needs to be pushed further within the United States Military Complex. 

Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Who is Fidel Cruz? This episode dives into myself the host and the story that unfolds when joining the military. All stories start off the same way but all go in different ways once you swear yourself to defend the constitution of the United States. We've all heard the numerous stories of those who have become heroes and names that will be heard forever and spoken about throughout history. This is just the version of another American joining to serve his country and how he wants to create change within the system. There's good, bad and ugly within the uniformed services, but its time we speak on all issues and inform those not aware about all that goes on as being a part of the military in teh United States of America This is me speaking on experiences endured during Basic Training and also for the process beforehand.

This is just me your host Just Cruz talking about the concepts moving forward of what we expect for ourselves as a podcast and also what I expect from myself as a host.
